Not for MIDI. You would have to catch events telling when an mci device
has finished playing(which is what my external does to play multiple
sounds in Win98). Perhaps the new player object in 2.3 will help with
this.
As a workaround you can get the length of the midi clip(in milliseconds)
then send a delayed message.
Here are the command strings:
set "C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\Midiex.mid" time format milliseconds
status "C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\Midiex.mid" length #save this into a variable and
send a delayed message
play "C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\Midiex.mid"
