Thanks for the feedback Scott. I think I'll use a virgin copy of
Virtual Windows 95/98 on my Mac for VfW testing rather than remove QT
from my laptop PC - it took enough attempts to get it working
reasonably as it was, so I'm not risking removing it!
Good idea to have a global property in the wish list.
Property name suggestion:
playerTechnology
which is set/returns:
"QT" or "QuickTime"
"VfW" or "VideoForWindows" or "V4W" or "Video4Windows"
"none"
"(something for Unix??)"
