As a workaround to this...
I also needed to do this and ended up providing an (optionally displayed)
field over the combo menu, set the text of fld "Index" to the text of btn
"index" and on keyDown navigated to the equivalent card using the initial
characters of lineOffset(charsTyped, the text of btn "index"). A
work-around which would be neatly avoided if the menuHistory were to apply
as Scott suggested.
Maybe something along these lines would work for you.
