The message is sent to the object whose script executed the "load"
command:
on mouseUp
  load url "http://www.metacard.com/index.html" with message "tellmeaboutit"
end mouseUp

on tellmeaboutit which
  put "Download of" && which && "done!"
end tellmeaboutit
