I'm thinking of using some animated GIF's in a CBT (actually animated cartoons to illustrate various things). I'd like to be able to play a voice-over that synchronises with the GIF. In addition, I'd like to be able to tell how far through an animated GIF I am at any time so I can pop up captions as and when needed. The GIF's would only cycle once, i.e. play from start to end with no repetition. Any thoughts, suggestions, warnings please?!
