Note: This is off the cuff, but if memory serves it goes something like
this:

on appleEvent pEvent, pSender, pID
    if pEvent = "odoc" then
       request ae data
       repeat for each line tFile in it
       -- open each
       end repeat
     end if 
end appleEvent
