I'm unable to get a MetaCard standalone to show a custom icon in the Mac
Finder. I've done this in the past without any problem, but this one
won't go. I've spent all day rebuilding my desktop, both with the
built-in command keys on startup and with TechTool.

Here are the ResEdit particulars in the standalone:

BNDL resource: (id 128)
 Signature: SpAd
 FREF: Local = 0 Res ID = 128
 Finder icons: Local = 0 Res ID = 128

FREF resource: (id 128)
 File type: APPL
 Icon local ID = 0

All 6 icon resources have one icon each, of ID 128
There is an owner resource, created by ResEdit, of type "SpAd"

Unless I'm missing something, this should work. The standalone was
created with the final version of 2.3 downloaded yesterday. I noticed
that when the standalone was first built, before I changed any of the
resources, it did not display the MetaCard icon either; standalones
built under 2.x used to show the MC icon immediately after the build.

Can anyone pinpoint what's wrong?
