I am trying to figure out how to post data to our ISP mail CGI, in order to
have custom forms and also to get away from invoking the users email client
as a mode of responding, but have the respond from MC itself. But if you are
absolutely untutored in this area . . .well, help is needed. i see sample
scripts that do a "URL Encode" for each data field, but still this isn't
quite enough information on how to proceed.
Do I have to get some kind of spec sheet from our ISP for the particular CGI
that processes a form? These are very basic. . .hidden TO" variable with
mail recipients, subject data, also hidden, then a series of custom fields
concatentated, one per like alphabetically to the the body of the email and
when submitted they turn into emails which are sent to the recipient list.
Pretty basic.
below is the HTML that is used for a web form. . .how do we take this and
submit the same thing from within MC? I have removed extraneous java, custom
fields, image and table tags for brevity's sake for this post. So ignore
tags that appear wrecked . . .
