Setting Main Stack. . .problem (or better said, ignorance on my part)
Scenari: I have a stack which is open called
"Mystic Mouse" I make another stack using "new" and name it "Mouse Tools"
but when I go to set the Main Stack in the "Mouse Tools" stack properties,
and try to set the main stack to "Mystic Mouse" which is open. . .stack
"Mystic Mouse" is not in the pop up menu of available stacks to assign as
the mainstacks. Not only that, the pop up menu does not seem to have any
logic to the list that appears there. Some of the stacks listed were
previously opened but are now closed (but not destoyed) also the stacks in
the list are in different directories. Why wouldn't all the open stacks
appear in the list? That would seem the natural behaviour substacks just
created would normally be related to open stacks in the course of
development.

If I put in the message box

set the main stack of stack "Mouse Tools" to stack "Mystic Mouse"

This also didn't work. I finally trashed the "Mouse Tools" stack and with
Mysic Mouse topLevel, typed "Create Stack" in the message box. . .this
worked.

but i would still like to understand the logic behind what stacks appear as
available in the main stack property listing. Perhaps it has to do with the
fact that the Stack "Mystic Mouse" doesn't have an asterisk by its title,
even though it is modifiable? (i also don't understand that either. .
.cantmodify is false, but no asterisk in the title bar??

thanks.
