Alas, all names on the list seem familiar.. Hope we had 5 new converts
everyday.
As someone had suggested, XML is one area to look out for but apparently
that would call for a major revamp of the way data is structured, and the
matter ended (??) at that. Bring out a tool supporting XML and see converts
moving towards you. As I've repeatedly requested, pls. see if you can
integrate SSL. Our clients need them. Users need them. Ditto for the
multimedia features requested in the recent posts.
I guess the problem boils down to our tiny user-base leading to a classic
chicken-and-egg story. Who will make the investment? The company or the
users?
Scott and his team are making a herculean effort technically, but perhaps
they need to hire a promotion and marketing agency urgently. Also, get on
the board some veterans from completely different lines of business/software
and see what they have to say. Their advice may be priceless.
