Greetings all,

Please forgive me for asking something that has probably appeared
here a hundred times... What is the rationale for *not* building a
MetaCard plugin for web browsers? People ask me about it all the
time when I describe all the wonderful things MC can do. It seems a
missed opportunity, although maybe I'm missing a crucial aspect of
the MetaCard delivery strategy. I would like to build small training
apps for faculty that would run in students' browsers. But
downloading the MC engine and running the app separate from the
browser seems altogether too cumbersome. Have I, indeed,
misunderstood how this should work?

I don't know how, but I forgot to mention this in the MC survey :-/

Thanks in advance for any clarification on this important issue.

Craig
