Alrighty got the Rinaldi xcmd and stuck it in the stack. a bit of fiddling
and it now works. One question I have though is why does metacard put
numbers like "184545668ld" into the variable I am using for recording sound
when Hypercard would return "184545668". Not a big problem but Metacard
wont play the sound "184545668ld" but will play "184545668". Those extra
couple of letters are causing trouble. Any reason why the are there?
