I consulted the instructions but...
With Netscape, I always thought helper applications were assigned from
within Netscape (click on Preferences > Applications > "New type...",
etc). However, the MC instructions (see below) talk about $PATH, $HOME
directory, and adding lines to files named ".mime.types" and ".mailcap".
To ask the obvious: where are these mime/mailcap files and why the $
symbol? (I thought I understood what a path and a home directory were,
but now am not too sure.)
Apologies for bothering the list with this.
