Currently, you can't.  The point of the original post was to list reasons
one might use Flash instead of MC.  The features mentioned belong to Flash.

All I meant was, media that runs within a Web page via a plugin, versus a
standalone application (what Macromedia calls a "projector").

The bottom line for this MC user is, I personally hate (literally) Flash's
development environment, and long to see the previously mentioned features
in MC.  Until broadband access becomes commonplace, you can definitely make
a case to use Flash/Shockwave, even with their idiosyncrasies.  You can
create Web-based and standalone media, both with reasonable if not
surprisingly small filesize, that run fairly consistently cross-platform.
