Its easy to set the icon from an alias or shortcut of the original (drag a
copy and check the properties). However I have never been able to figure out
how to do it with the original unless you change the file types (under
view/options in 'my computer') - yuck!. To creat icons you need an icon
editor that saves in ".ico" format. Check out Axialas Icons on the web for a
free trial..best icon editor I have seen.
