separation.

Server side.. Most of my time is spent coding the work done on the server
side, with much less time spent spitting back the results as HTML.

with MetaCard? And what percentage with client-side tools/languages like
JavaScript, Perl,
and of course HTML and others? >>
Probably 80%. The other 20% is usually spent in C/C++. However, at least half
of the time spent in C/C++ is spent writing Xternals for use with Metacard.
Perhaps 5% could be attributed to miscellaneous tasks like small JavaScripts
and HTML fiddling outside of Metacard.
