I'm posting a variable to the Xitami server on Win98, using PHP4 to read
the variable as recieved by the server. From Microsoft IE the posted
variable ends up as a PHP variable -- HTTP_POST_VARS["firstname"] = jack
-- *AND* as an Environment variable -- HTTP_ENV_VARS["FORM_FIRSTNAME"] =
jack. Posting from Metacard only sets the Environment variable, nothing
ends up in the PHP variable. I would prefer that the HTTP_POST_VARS
variable also be set so a post from Metacard would replicate exactly a
post from the big-time browsers. Thanks for any ideas. Michael Kann,
