A colleague of mine spent 3 hours working on a stack. It worked flawlessly. Then he used the standalone builder to create an executable. In the field where you specify the destination filename, he accidentally didn't put an ".exe" extension in the name. it then built the standalone by overwriting the original MC file. There was no warning dialogue such as "this file already exists...overwrite? Yes? No?" - it just went ahead and totalled his file. Now it doesn't work either as an MC file or as a standalone. Any suggestions? Is this a bug or a feature?
Thanks,
Blair
P.S. sorry for any MS Outlook related nonsense when submitting to the list. By resubscribing to the new list server I ran into the usual convoluted contortions required by Outlook to set it up. i.e., drilling down to turn on mime plain text format etc.
