Simon, first of all it's MCHTTPd ;-) Go to "www.cloud9.net/~undo" and download the more recent version. After you unzip it you'll have a folder with 2 stacks and 2 folders inside. Add another folder called "Pub" and put whatever files and directories you want in it for the test. Open stack "mchttpd-2_alpha1.mc" and click Start server. Open a browser on the same machine (or another if you have a network) and type in the address of the server including the port (8080) say http://192.168.11.2:8080 hit return and see what happens. You can change the port to a different number. What it does is it serves web - html and images in the most basic way. > >Anyone have good N' easy examples of what mchttp can do? > >Real beginner type stuff, I really want to explore this but really don't >know how to go about it. ..then check out the stack script. > >PS: I need pictures...;P I'm working on a small video tutorial for you ;-) >-- > >Cheers, >Simon Regards, Andu _______________________ [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Info: http://www.xworlds.com/metacard/mailinglist.htm Please send bug reports to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, not this list.
