Yes of course one _can_ build a work around, be it a list field or a stack
to emulate a menu. But then do we need to send this in as a feature
request/bug report?
For any object to open outside the bounds of the stack/window rect seems
counter-logical at best and simply "uninformed behaviour" at worst. (
meaning the popup or pulldown menu is uninformed about the bounds within
which it can/should appear.)
