Your client can do course ware training over the web with metacard. The only thing
he/his clients cannot have in this context is a standard browser (thank God). It will 
be
replaced by a master stack whose job will be to download other stack-parts of the
course ware as necessary. IMHO this is a much more trouble free solution then the one
you mentioned above.
And a lower overhead too for sure.
