Easiest way to accomplish this is: if you have an account with an ISP which allows you
to
have a web site accessible via ftp you can create a directory there and upload your
stuff.
Set the directory permissions so that people can read it and they can access it for
downloads with a regular browser.
Alternatively you can set up a ftp server somewhere and upload the same way but
download either with a browser or a ftp client like the one I made. If you want to have
password protected directories you can only access them with a ftp client.
I'm not sure but I think ftp has a built in command for not overwriting files if you
upload
one with the same name. Ftp-Q doesn't support that yet except for downloads but I can
add it when I have time.
