Yes, I think they will still infect stacks, since password protection
doesn't stop script-based commands from executing. However, locking your
Home stack at the OS level (that is, making it a read-only file) will
stop infections since scripts can't write to or save your Home stack. On
Macs, you do this by setting the Lock attribute in the Home stack's "Get
Info" window in the Finder. Not sure how you do it on other platforms,
but I know there is a way on Windows.
