I didn't get the point. I mean version 2.3.1 also hides
the edges of the window (stack) when you maximize, just
like any other app window.

The problem is exactly with the very latest build
(mc.exe.gz) which i downloaded yesterday from the ftp
site.
Running windows95 here.
