Hi Richard. You will need to use ResEdit to make this happen. You will
also need to set the creator code for you saved documents from within your
standalone as well.

1. Add the following line to your save code. It should go just before the
actual save line in your script: set the stackFileType to "KTMGIMMI"
The first four chars are your apps creator code. The second for chars are
the code for your saved document.

2. In ResEdit, get rid of the old icons that MC creates:
BNDL, FREF, icl4, icl8, ICN#, ics#, ics4, and ics8.

3. Create new resource: Apple - K

4. Select type BNDL

5. A window will appear asking for the signature. Type in your
creator code from you app. In the example above, it is: KTMG

6. Then Apple - K again

7. Under type, put: APPL (this means application)

8. Double click on the greyed out icons to the right. Here you will
paste in your icons.

9. It is at this same screen that you: Apple - k to put in your
document icons as well.

10. Give them their type code. In the example above, it is: IMMI

11. If you will be distributing your app to others, you may want to
register your app creator code (not the document codes) with Apple.

Hope this helps.
