I've just started evaluating MetaCard - there may be more newbie questions
to come...
Using the starter kit environment, attempting to import an existing stack;
hit the statement limit problem in the background script. Closed the
stack in MetaCard, reopened in HyperCard, moved some handlers from
background script to stack script, closed the stack in HyperCard. Then
opened the stack in MetaCard; it had partly noted the changes, but not
totally (it now knew it had hit a problem in the stack script instead of
the bg script; but when I asked it to edit the script and show me, it
tried to show me in the old version of the stack script). How can I
persuade MetaCard to _really_ close a stack, without actually quitting and
re-launching MetaCard?
TIA,
