Nope, you didn't "warp" my original request. On the contrary, it is the
hard-to-describe nature of these things that makes it so difficult to find
exactly what we're after. Hopefully, if this article comes out well, we'll
all have a paper we can point reference to make our case for these sorts of
things, just as Osterhout's paper makes a great case for 4GLs like MetaCard
(see <http://www.scriptics.com/people/john.ousterhout/scripting.html>). As
you read his paper, just replace "Tcl" with "MetaCard" and it reads like
thhe ultimate position paper for MC productivity.
