It would seem I, along with Rob and Jaqueline, am among the minority on
this list who feel a loss.
Like many, I began with HC back in the early 1980's and the same spirit of
community and shared pioneering advancement was transfered to the SuperCard
list as many of us progressed with Allegiant. As Allegiant stumbled, many
of us moved on to MetaCard. We have a shared history, folks, whether or not
you were personally around and there is more to this 'scripting' game than
producing product and dollars. Okay, we have moved into posh suburbia from
back-to-back houses with an outside loo and the sense of loss depends on
your personal involvement, but don't mock an old-timer if you didn't grow
up with him. Above all, let's not lose that original sense of fun, mutual
respect and community here.
