I suppose I could represent some of the gaming world in MetaCard...
at least, a lot of games that haven't made it off my hard drive out
to the world yet :)
At my website, you can see some of the games I'm working on (Tiger's
Eye Pub and Casino, another fishing game sometime down the road) :

The single game I've released is The Fishin' Hole, which I made on a
bet about three or four years ago. It's definitely not
representative of my current projects, but it still is a fun little
diversion.

I agree. I beta tested the program for them, and thought it was a
really cool game... especially since they used characters from so
many of their other projects, including some very, VERY ambitious
stuff in HyperCard (before they got to lay their paws on Our Lady of
MetaCard) .
>maybe try to search for it, i cant remember the url sorry.
Prisim Software's (now-deceased) website:

All their games are still there... very fun if you've never played them!
>And i myself have been creating a few games, all unreleased sorry.
Wish we could pool together all the game makers (or people even
faintly interested in entertainment applications in MetaCard) in a
group of some sort... especially so we could all go back and forth
sharing any script or problem solving methods...

Quite true. The initial price of $999 definitely keeps some friends
of mine from picking up the program for their hobbyist game-making -
they're instead stuck with HyperCard.
Come to think of it, the only real difference I could seriously point
out between why people should have a Mac over a Windows box was
HyperCard (when I discovered it many years ago) , and it still is a
huge difference. Since MetaCard is for Windows, either system can
create awesome interactive programs quite easily... but that price
tag does keep hobbyists mostly away... and the extra cost-per-user of
a hobbyist / novice user probably is a little needless right now for
MC Corp.
