We have a MC working on one of our web servers now (Linux).. Finally. one small step forward... Is there a "library" of sample .mt scripts, that "mc cgi newbies" can learn/snip code from? Specifically we want to start by simply handling data that is sent to the server by a web form using POST. Echo back to the user some of his personal entry details that he entered into the form, save the input from the form to file (or a stack itself separate from the .mt script--is that doable?), generate an email notification by opening "talking" to Apache's sendMail prog. Well, maybe that wasn't so simply after all. Right now I am doing about half of the above stuff with an old PERL script from Matt's Archive, but I don't even know PERL so we are not in any position to build the web interface beyond what is there. Rather than learning PERL I am thinking this will be a bit easier for me since I already know xTalk... I think once we know where the gears, clutch etc of .mt scripts are, we can pretty much fly after that.
