Quicktime movies exported from iMovie and imported into Metacard (or Revolution) CONSISTENTLY crash my Mac. (G4, 192mB ram, system 9.1) I have now tried all the variations I can think of, and it seems that I have a genuine problem. Two weeks of testing, and scores of restarts later, here are some details. First I tried with Revolution, but it became tiresome to reconnect to the net so many times, and I found that I could duplicate the problem in Metacard (starter set). If I import QT's Sample movie, there is no problem. If I import a movie (.mov) from a CD rom, there is no problem. But, If I export a movie from iMovie, say 404k, I get a freeze that I cannot get out of without force-quit, and restarting. If I export a movie from iMovie, as small as 92k, I get a freeze that I cannot get out of without force-quit, and restarting. However, if I make and export a movie using no live shots, but just do some titles on black, and add a music track, this one 304k, there is no problem. Could somebody check and see if they get the same results? Thanks, Ryno.
