Unfortunately I don't have OS X yet but you guys "make" me get it
against my will ;-). I have a strong feeling I'll have to ask for
donations for a new computer too; I saw OS X running on a new iBook and
it was painfully slow which makes me think my Wallstreet will most
likely die under stress.
Until then I can't be of any help except to suggest that since libURL is
open source, an incident like this should be a good incentive for users
to learn to use sockets and contribute code and/or debug the library.
