Could you use RTF and print in Word?

Hugh has an RTF exporter from Metacard (or Revolution?).

In HyperCard I did this by setting up a template Word document, 
saving as RTF, copying the RTF header and column heads into a hidden 
field and then using that when I exported the document. I still use 
that form once a month.

This was a tabular table. I think you wanted continuous text. I don't 
know if the same principle would work, but I think it would.
