He doesn't offend anyone because there's nothing offensive in posting in
German when there are so many people on the list who understand German
and can help him, not because the answer was in English.
This idea of associating fluency in English with education has no merit.
And remember, 50 years ago it was French and German that most people
used as an international language, not English, and 3 hundred years ago
it was Latin.
