There is definitely an issue here, perhaps even more than one. It took me
two days of repeatedly going through scripts and stacks to track down one
problem in 2.3.2: if you hide the controls of a group which is nested within
a scrolling group, the nested group can be resized to the dimensions of
small point as if it has no controls. But MC doesn't appear to do this
consistently. I have a stack with four nested groups, and only the first
out of the four repeatedly experienced this phenomenon. I don't believe I
have any hair left on my head after working out this discovery.
The workaround I used was to set the ink of the nested controls to noop --
and make sure to never hide nested groups or you will risk having them
repositioned somewhere randomly when they are made visible.
I have also encountered problems with scrolling and have found that
initializing the scroll and sometimes the locations of the nested controls
is a must upon opening a card or stack that has a scrolling group.
Regards,
Scott
