Dear list,
I've not done much work on the PC side of MetaCard, but the work I have done
has been fine. Until now.

I'm converting a Mac project done in MC 2.3.2 over to Windows. Here's the
problem: The stack uses a button for navigation set to "Option" under the
appearance tab of the button properties. Works very well on the Mac
platform. When I put it on a Dell here at work, a strange thing happens...
The button turns into a "Combo Box" button and then when you double click on
the down arrow button from the pop up list it locks up the whole stack.

Thinking this was a problem in my stack, I created a brand new stack on the
PC, with one Option button and a list of 10 items in it. Instead of option
I get combo box. Click on it once and it displays a list of my items, with
the scrollable field below it. Double click on the down arrow a couple of
times and it locks up MetaCard.

Huh?

So I try it on a different machine with a brand new fresh copy of MetaCard
2.3.2 from their website. Same results.

So I fire up Virtual PC on my Macintosh and try it. It works fine... You
can double-click on the down arrow on the button (set to Option) and it's
OK... No crash.

The two Dells I use are both running Win 98 with 64 MB or RAM and they are
Celeron processors, somewhere in the 600 MHz range. They are running every
other program fine.

Has anyone else seen this? And if so, what's the solution?
