Does NT allocate resources based to open processes based on their
average start-to-present consumption or some other similar metric? If
so, maybe that's a factor. (I'm assuming your app doesn't demand much
of the OS.)
Or, is there any event that always precedes the problem? Like a
certain process running, or some kind of big demand by another app?
Or, is there some kind of network event that happens before the
problem, that leaves the network or connection in the wrong state for
your app to do its work?
Just some guesses.
