True - in the same way that the last char of a word is not a
space, and the last char of an item is not a comma (or
itemDel). Is there a pattern here? (The chunk delimiter
isn't part of the chunk.)

In your "replace" command or "offset()" function, use chunks
that *contain* the delimiters you want to replace - then
it'll work. If you're looking for line delimiters, you'll
probably need to use chunks that contain lines - maybe the
whole file, or at least a multi-line section of the file.
