Thanks for your help in the first place.
I think the e-mail address is not the username. In my situation my address is: [EMAIL PROTECTED] SMTP: username:[EMAIL PROTECTED] And I have the impression that the matching of the two usernames is occasional. Anyway, I need a way to pass trough a password, and that needs to be done via some way of encryption. I believe MC should be able to handle this. So it should be possible to give 'smtp.open-relay.com' but also 'username:[EMAIL PROTECTED]' as SMTP server. Andu, is there any chance MC is going to support SMTP AUTH(entication)? > Andu Regards, / Groeten, Sjoerd Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Info: http://www.xworlds.com/metacard/mailinglist.htm Please send bug reports to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, not this list.
