Good cure! Thanx, and relief :-) I had a "surprise" at a certain card, whose controls were shifted down as the bottom of the card -- but I decided to delete this card, and transfer its content to a new card; that worked :-) Domi, decided to master the MC menus ;-) PS: I had a thought (that sort of thing arrives from time to time ;-)) The *good* strategy is to reserve a place for the menubar at the top of the card window (how many pixels?) -- and not to put any control at this place. So, at the time of moving the stack menubar to the screen, the card shift will not "destroy" some control...
