How to stop a Player (w QT Movie) from reacting to keyboard events

Does anyone know how to stop a player that plays a QuickTime movie from 
reacting to keyboard events (arrowkey down etc.)?

People watching the movie should not be able to stop it (space bar) or 
to move forward or backward via the arrow keys.
