I'm not sure I'm doing this right. I ran a report in Bugzilla with the intention of compiling a list of any bugs that are still pending, regardless of the version they were reported in. In other words, a listing of outstanding bugs. There are a total of 406 after narrowing it down for only Mac and Windows and a couple other limitations.

My question is as follows. According to the list, some of the bugs were reported as early as 2003 and are still outstanding. This seems a bit far fetched. So I'm assuming it's user error -- my error in running the report, or my error in reading it, or something.

For example, bug 1413 relating to .png imported files was reported on 3-23-04 if I'm reading it correctly, and is still marked as NEW, with a severity of MINOR, and a target date of ---.

The last comment made was in December 2004, Reassign.

So the bug appears to be unresolved. I use .png's a LOT. There will be thousands of them in my Project In Development. So this one jumped out at me. I had found them to be much easier to work with than .gif's.

I just want to verify that I did indeed run the report correctly, and that I am reading it correctly. These are the choices that I highlighted:

Product: Revolution
Status: Pending, New, Assigned, Reopened
Severity: All except Enhancement
OS: Windows, Mac OSX

Can anyone verify that I am doing this correctly?

(I have not tried Revzilla yet... would have to start the Revolution 30 day trial to use Revzilla. Not ready to start a clock ticking :-)
