You need to set the externals property of the stack, save it,
close it, and re-open it.
I know and did until now.
But in standalones it DOES work the way I do it right now!
Set the externals of a stack, and start using this stack will
immediately
make these externals availbalbe to other stacks.
In Rev the external are available to all stacks without open/set
external/save/clos/re-open
any stack, too.
Or am I completely wrong?

I found the solution and Mark gave me the final hint.
Setting the externals every time the home stacks starts was really
not a good idea ;-)
Now everything works as exspected.
