As some of you may remember, I've been talking about rewriting Metalink
Editor 1.x for some time now. Here's some good news: it's finally happening!

It's not finished yet and it still lacks important features, but it does
work. Today I even created a Windows installer, so it's easy to try out for
both Linux/*BSD and Windows people.

I use git for everything nowadays, so the source code is available at
GitHub: http://github.com/hampus/metalink-editor. The README explains how to
build it. It's fairly easy in Linux/*BSD.

For Windows users I recommend downloading an installer from here instead:
http://metalink.hampuswessman.se/editor/files/.

If you're interested, please try it out and give some feedback! Just keep in
mind that it's not yet finished.

Feel free to publish your own fork of the git repository. That's just nice!
Let me know if you want me to pull any changes.

Have a nice day, everyone!
Hampus Wessman
