Hi all,
On 21-Feb-00, Pedro Luis Mieza spoke thus:
*snip*
I have finally gotten around to trying MetalWeb4 pre3 and IIRC pre2 was quite a lot
slower at text handling, so it's great to see MetalWeb coming along nicely.
Several people are having trouble with MetalWeb crashing - so far pre3 has not crashed
on my system at all (though I haven't used it a lot yet). It loads the index file of
my homepage quite nicely and I had a play about with that in it for a while.
MetalWeb also loads fairly quickly on my system (030, 50mhz, 18meg ram, 3.2gig IDE
hard drive etc.)
My system is *not* clean either - I am running patchpointer, AKeySwap, NewIcons,
MultiCX (supposed to be clean patches tho'), FBlit, and PowerSnap.

Sounds good :)
A couple of small spelling errors - on the popup menu 'add an horizontal frame' and
'add an vertical frame' should be 'add a horizontal frame' (actually that one's
debatable - 'an' may be more correct than 'a' for the word 'horizontal' because it
starts with 'h' - anyone else know which is correct?) and 'add a vertical frame'
respectively.
Why is a blank page contained within a form as default? This seems strange and
unnecessary to me.
Regards,
