Indeed.

I suggest that anyone who's run this minimization on Linux
report their bogomips. There are a long list of flaws
with the bogomips measure (hence the name),
but it's an estimate of CPU speed that's really easy to get.

You can find this value by running this:
  grep bogomips /proc/cpuinfo

I see 8 copies of this (one for each of the 8 CPUs):
  bogomips        : 5799.99
