For Ndiyo to be able to start offering the technology for general use at prices that would be attractive, however, we need to be able to build Nivos in batches of a reasonable size - hundreds or thousands at a time - rather than the small, prototype manufacturing runs we've been doing so far. As a not-for-profit with very limited means, we don't have the resources to do that directly, which means we need to find organisations interested in placing orders of that kind of size. With this in mind, we're partnering with our new sister company, Cambridge Visual Networks, to make available an 'Ndiyo Starter Kit', which will allow organisations considering a substantial roll-out of Ndiyo systems to get early access to the technology and to support and influence its development in the run-up to a more general public release.
