For those who care to listen: Since long ago, in China, there has
been told this story of the Nien, the Nien came and went once per year
and took with Him untold millions of souls, He passed if you followed
the ritual of clanging pots and pans and ate the cake made of rice
flour; but those that chose not to follow, died in his path.....the
Terrible Nien came from the night sky as the hour passed, those inside
with family were saved, and....those in his path were struck and
killed. Remember the Nien as the New Year approaches and take
