Hi Walter,
 
Pretty nice unprocessed images from your digital camera looking through your
70mm scope -- particularly the lunar image.  Don't suppose you attempted to
image Saturn as it was being occulted by the Moon a few days back?  The
next thing you might try would be a long exposure (15 seconds would work)
of a bright satellite passing through a nice starfield.  The International Space
Station is certainly plenty bright, or you can try capturing glints ("flares") from
Iridium satellites (which can be far brighter still).  Contact me off-list if you'd
like specific directions on where and when to look for ISS or the next bright
Iridium flare for your location.
