Hi
Walter,
Pretty
nice unprocessed images from your digital camera looking through
your
70mm
scope -- particularly the lunar image. Don't suppose you attempted
to
image
Saturn as it was being occulted by the Moon a few days back?
The
next
thing you might try would be a long exposure (15 seconds would
work)
of a
bright satellite passing through a nice starfield. The International
Space
Station is certainly plenty bright, or you can try
capturing glints ("flares") from
Iridium satellites (which can be far brighter
still). Contact me off-list if you'd
like
specific directions on where and when to look for ISS or the next
bright
Iridium flare for your location.
Best,
Rob
