TOLAR,   H4 Chondrite,  De Baca County, New Mexico,  Found 1972,  Recognized as
a meteorite in Jan., 2002.   Total Known Weight is 5350 grams.  This meteorite was
found by a rancher while rounding up his cattle.  He saw one of my "meteorite wanted"
posters in a local store and contacted me in June of 2001.   We went out to the site where he had
found the meteorite in 1972 and we searched the dune blowouts for more, but we came
up empty.  I purchased the stone from him and  ASU did the classification work.
Tolar has a dark grey-black appearance and at times it seems to have a bluish tint. There
is a scattering of metal with some strange and varied veining running throughout some of
the slices.  I cut this meteorite somewhat on the thick side....about 8 mm average.
These specimens of Tolar are very attractive and with a LOW  total known weight,  I
believe they are a great buy at the prices below!  After cut loss, donation specimen
and such, what you see below is just about everything that is available....not that
much........

FREE REPORT WITH EACH PASAMONTE (b) PURCHASE!

PASAMONTE (B),  L6 Chondrite,  Union County, New Mexico,  Found August 2001, Total Known
Weight is ONLY  185 grams!   My wife Wren and I spent a lot of time this summer hunting
The Pasamonte Strewnfield looking for more of the Pasamonte (Eucrite).  This Eucrite is
way too fragile to have survived on the ground since its fall....but I needed to get this
search out of my mind once and for all.  We hiked and searched the Pasamonte Strewnfield
for several hundred hours and probably walked over 100 miles....searching...searching.
While we  didn't find any of the Eucrites....we did find this one little stone  tucked
away in an eroded area.   Gary Huss at ASU did the work on this stone and it is an L6.
I think it is very pretty and with a low known weight very desirable.  The closest landmark
was the Pasamonte Ranch..... hence the name Pasamonte (b).   N 36 degree 14. 562 by
W 103 degree 45.515..... this is where the stone was found.  I am keeping the
Main Mass for now (40.59 grams), ASU got ~24 grams. What I have listed below is
pretty much all that is for sale.......

Pasamonte (b)  12.15 gram complete slice....................... $243.00

Pasamonte (b)  2.71 gram part slice............................. $54.20

Pasamonte (b)  2.15 gram part slice............................. $43.00

Pasamonte (b) 2.05 gram part slice............................. $41.00

Pasamonte (b) 1.87 gram part slice............................ $37.40

Pasamonte (b)  1.73 gram part slice........................... $34.60

KERMIT 001,  H4 Chondrite,  Winkler County, Texas,  Found August 2001, Total Known
Weight is ONLY  67.5 grams. However Kermit 001 will probably be paired with Kermit
002 and 005, bringing the total known weight of this H4 up to 133.2 grams.   There
is a large dune complex near Kermit, Texas with many "blowouts" between these
dunes.  In this area an extensive search was conducted by my meteorite recovery
team ...which consisted of my wife Wren and I, along with several other friends.
We found a total of five complete little stones and called them Kermit 001-005.
These stones represent two differant falls. All of the stones were found in
one large and deep ...very deep .. dune blowout.  This area covered several
hundred square yards in size.  Dr. Gary Huss has concluded that these five
stones represent two different falls.  Three of the stones represent an identical
H4  and two of the stones represent an identical H5. Pretty Cool!  We have
conducted several more searches in this area, but have yet to recover any more
specimens.   I am offering ONLY Kermit 001 for sale at the moment.  Very
little of this material will be made available.  What you see is what there is!

Kermit 001............ 2.36 gram part slice............ $70.00

Kermit 001............ 1.69 gram part slice............ $50.00

Kermit 001............ 1.60 gram part slice............ $48.00

Kermit 001............ 0.95 gram part slice............ $28.50
Kermit 001........... 0.85 gram part slice............. $25.50

Kermit 001........... 0.75 gram part slice............. $22.50

Kermit 001........ 0.49 gram part slice............... $14.70

Kermit 001....... 0.35 gram part slice............... $10.50

Sorry no free report with the Kermit at the moment!

Thanks & Best Wishes
